All the things he came across, I have too! These are basic tips that REALLY do help other riders. One thing I would like to add is that if you come to a trail junction and want to stop for any reason, pull off to the side! If your group bunches up at the mouth of the intersection it makes it really hard for other riders to maneuver around you.
These simple tips can make your ride and the ride for others more enjoyable.

For years the OHM and Snowmobile communities have used the signals described in the video. However that has or is changing. With the advent of larger groups and club rides you don't have enough fingers to say how many are behind you. As a ride leader I typically have 30 or more machines behind me on some rides. The new signal for machines behind you is to make a fist like you are hitch hiking and move your fist and thumb over your shoulder bending your arm at the elbow.
