2017 Polaris ACE 570 SP Quick Ride Review
Riding The 2017 ACE 570 SP
I have been a fan of the ACE from the moment it was released. 2017 finds the ACE platform with many changes that seem to have brought this machine to a stable place in the Polaris lineup. The most notable of the changes for the 570 ACE is the addition of the SP model which has a dual a-arm front suspension and sway bars in the front and rear, making the ride so much more responsive and comfortable compared to the strut setup on the ACE and ACE 570. In the corners this ACE tracks very well and doesn’t “push” sideways the way the strut versions do. Power on the 570 engine is more responsive on the low-end, meaning you can give it a little gas and the ACE 570 jumps forward eager to get the rear-end loose. This makes it more fun than ever to drive. The dashboard and instrument cluster have been updated and include a little storage. High performance AWD and quarter-doors are also part of the SP package. This ACE 570 SP is a lot of fun to drive and is a viable alternative to the traditional ATV for those who want a roll cage and steering wheel. I would love to see 26-inch tires being offered on the 570.
