This is truly one of the most famous and notorious trails anywhere. It is for experts only, even though it is more an intimidation factor than actual obstacles. The trail requires you to traverse a narrow ledge with a steep dropoff into the Crystal River. You will get to see the famous Crystal Mill, which has been the subject of many many pictures. This trail has claimed lives many years ago when a jeep fell off the narrow ledge and the passengers were killed. The trail is narrow, but in an ATV or UTV there is some room to spare. Passing is difficult in the narrowest sections. You can start this trail from the Paradise Divide Trail , or you can start in the town of Marble, and take the Lead King Basin Trail to get to this trail. Connect to the mentioned trails for a full day's adventure.
