I was staying in a cabin in the Hochatown area north of Broken Bow. I asked the locals about a placce to ride and was told about an area just off of Hwy 259. It was just a dirt area in the side of the road large enough to park my pickup and trailer. We took off riding into the forest. Good trail variety. Trail followed a small creek for awhile and then went up the mountain for a great view of the lake. The trail we took ended up being about a 2 hour ride. I had no map so I was just guessing on which turns to take to get us back to the road and we had to backtrack a couple of times when came to a dead end. It ended up being a very enjoyable ride. There were other trails leading from the other side of the road that I will check out the next time I am in the area. There are other area to ride in this forest but this is the only one that I have checked out so far.
