With every new demo unit comes the need to outfit that unit with the “essentials” for that type of machine. The first of the “essentials” for any side-by-side is a roof to keep the sun or rain from turning this pale guy into a tomato or a wet dog. So when our RZR demo arrived, I started looking around for a roof to adorn the roll cage, and after a little research an EMP roof was what I wanted. There is a lot to like about this Rally style roof from EMP including being made from 5052 aircraft aluminum, laser cut for a proper fit, showing off a LED dome light, and being available in textured black, blue, red, orange, and white. Did I mention it is made in the U.S.? The other big plus about this EMP RZR roof is that it looks good! Within a few days, the aluminum roof was sitting at my gate ready to be bolted onto our 50-inch RZR.
The EMP RZR Rally style roof looks good and will last the life of the machine.
Installation was extremely easy, with these clamps being easy to work with.
Installation
The installation was remarkably simple and quick, taking all of about 10 minutes. The instructions proved to be accurate in giving each step required to secure the roof with no fuss. The front of the roof bolts into the roll cage using existing bolts and holes, while the rear of the roof is attached to the roll cage using the most easy-to-use clamps I have ever well…used. All of the parts of this EMP roof have been well engineered to work correctly and effortlessly, which makes the installation a breeze. You can also tell upon careful examination that each part is a quality product.
An added dome light is a nice touch that comes in handy.

I could not be more pleased with the EMP RZR Rally Roof. It looks great on the RZR, and it will last for years with its aluminum construction. The way it is designed covers your shoulders in a way many roofs do not. The included dome light is a nice touch as well, and the ease of installation makes it one of the best roofs I have ever installed. In fact, it is the easiest roof installation I have ever tackled. I am impressed with this roof and the quality of the workmanship it sports. In a sea of roof options on the market, I can recommend the EMP RZR Aluminum “Rally” Style Roof without hesitation.
