A beautiful area to ride. There is a wide variety of terrain to ride over on this peninsula. For an easy ride, you can stick to the lakeside trails and enjoy the water views, as you feel the spray kicked up from your tires. For a more challenging ride, head to the interior. There you will encounter hills, mud, trees, and 45degree inclines that will take every bit of power to get up.
A great summer area to ride. Only downfall is that there is no attached RV park that you can ride your atv from campsite to trail. You have to trailer in your ride and load up to go back to your campsite. The state park RV site next to the ORV area is water and electric only, and not many of those. Most are tent sites.
Still, as of my last visit, the riding is free so that makes it balance out for us.
