Wide variety of terrain. Sand, mud, lakeside, wooded, rock, open grassland. 1200 acres of variety that changes with the seasons and every time it rains.
There are levels of trails from beginner to daredevil. Situated next to a state RV park, you can ride straight from your RV or tent to the trails. A day parking lot has ample parking, also. Open 8am to sunset.
Way more than 10 miles of trails I love going here. There is some fun trails and any rider with any type of experience can have fun and be challenged with the different terrains. The staff is nice and keep the park up to par.
This is a nice place to spend a day or a weekend. It is not a really big place, but it has lots of trails. There are some rocky hill climbs, hardpack trails, sandy type trails, and even some mud you can choose to go through that will get you stuck. Part of the park runs the bank of Lake Murray, which is quite pretty. This is a good place to bring the kids.
