New 2020 Can-Am Defender Pro & Defender Limited

Can-Am Defender Pro

Can-Am clearly enjoys keeping us guessing at what is coming, and we are ok with it. It seems the Can-Am Defender family just grew by two more models for the 2020 model year with the addition of the Defender Limited and Defender Pro. It is no secret that we are Defender fans which stems from all the time we have spent aboard what may be the best all-around utility-rec side-by-side on the market. Yep, that is a bold statement, but one that has been well earned in our experience. These two new models in the Defender lineup prove Can-Am just keeps making them better as workers and players.

Can-Am Defender Limited

Let's start with the Defender Limited, which you can find in both three and six-person versions. No doubt you can already guess that a Defender Limited is a loaded Defender full of all the features available on a Defender. The entire cab is sealed to allow for the AC/Heating unit to work its magic to keep you cool or warm. It even has an auto mode where you set a temp and forget about it. Don't forget about the electric opening doors. There is a large 7.6 inch digital display, a brake holding mechanism, XT front bumper, 4500LB winch, full skid plate, and even LED lights. Here is the complete list.

Can-Am Defender Pro

Defender Pro

This model makes a "big splash" (couldn't help ourselves) from a shear size perspective, and it is massive from a hauling capacity perspective. The cargo capacity of the Defender Pro comes in at a whopping 72-inches aka 6 feet long. Most of us can sleep in that amount of space. The Defender Pro is built on the chassis of the Defender MAX/Defender 6x6 with a bed that can have the sides and tailgate removed for those jobs requiring a flatbed. The interior is like that of the Defender's 3-seat kin, including a choice between a DPS or XT model. Also, it comes with 13-inches of ground clearance for whatever the terrain might require in order to power through. If big work needs to be done, early Can-Am feels the Defender Pro fits the bill.
