ROXOR Goes Automatic With The A/T Model

ROXOR A/T Model

Some news came out a month or more ago about ROXOR Offroad releasing an automatic transmission version of the ROXOR called a ROXOR A/T. We have been pretty quiet about ROXOR since it was released, but that doesn't mean we are not interested in the vehicle, because we are very interested in the vehicle. The fact is the ROXOR fits into the "UTV/SxS" category, but it is a different animal all together. It uses a manual transmission with a clutch, complete with all the looks of a Jeep. ROXOR has now announced an A/T model which features a 6-speed hydraulic-actuated tranny for those who just don't want to mess with a clutch and changing gears. We think that will open the ROXOR up to a much bigger market.

ROXOR A/T Model

We haven't driven any ROXOR though it is on our list to try to get a unit to drive. The platform/machine is a tried-and-true proven off-road platform that has been used for decades, but it is not road legal. According to our local dealer, customers buying the ROXOR are a different customer than a typical ATV or SxS loyalist, with the ROXOR customer being someone who wants the feel of a traditional vehicle and the work capability that the ROXOR brings. The ROXOR comes in with a 62-inch width putting it smack-dab in the width range of being a trail UTV/SxS.

ROXOR A/T Model

Hopefully we will be able to get a hold of a model of ROXOR to form some opinions about it, write a review, take it on an adventure, and work some video magic. Until then, you can checkout of the ROXOR Offroad website for more information about all of ROXOR's models.
