The big news today is the release of the 2016 Kawasaki ATV and side-by-side lineups, and there are several notable changes to machines. Half of those changes is on the Teryx and Teryx4 side, with the most obvious change being the front-end of the Teryx and Teryx4. It has been rounded off and sports a more steem-lined look that is really sharp.  Just check out the pictures above and see what you think! We are a huge fan of the Teryx family with its 783cc engine that has a lot of low-end grunt and a suspension that not only offers a comfortable and adjustable ride, but can be adjusted to your liking with a few turns on the shocks. Oh and did I mention it has a three-year Kawasaki Strong Warranty? There are a handful of things to note on the new Teryx and Teryx4.

Digital Fuel Injection

  • DFI system permits easy engine starting at low temperature and utilizes an Automatic Idle Speed Control and Automatic Fast Idle function to help ensure smooth engine warm up
  • The high-pressure fuel pump located within the tank features a unique reservoir chamber at the bottom of the pump to help ensure air does not leak into the fuel system

Kawasaki Automatic Power-Drive System CVT with Centrifugal Clutch 

  • Featuring high and low ranges, plus reverse, this advanced and continuously variable transmission provides extremely direct engine feel along with instantaneous acceleration from the centrifugal clutch
  • Transmission uses a strong, high-grade, Kevlar-impregnated belt designed to handle the output of the engine. The drive converter shaft is hard chrome-finished for added durability
  • The smooth centrifugal clutch is key to superior acceleration at slow and very low speeds
  • Centrifugal clutch is located between the crankshaft and CVT drive pulley, which eliminates CVT belt shock and contributes to optimal transmission performance
