Say Hello To Kawasaki's 2017 ATVs & Side-By-Sides

Kawasaki has announced their 2017 ATVs and Side-by-sides including a brand new Mule SX line of side-by-sides. Below is a breakdown of the Kawasaki 2017 ATVs and side-by-sides. One thing to note about all of Kawasaki's models is the 3-year factory warranty. Wouldn't it be great if all the manufacturers did that! We will be looking at the specifics of the new Mule SX and bring a First Look article to you very soon.

We don't see really any changes to the ATV lineup other than new colors and tweaking of graphics.

Brute Force 750

2017 Kawasaki Brute Force 750

Offered in both EPS and non-EPS versions, the Brute Force 750 remains unchanged. This is Kawasaki's flagship ATV, and it continues to include a great-sounding 750 v-twin engine combined with a comfortable suspension. You can read our review of the Kawasaki Brute Force 750 here.

For those who want a reliable way to get around, get some work done, and have a little fun, Kawasaki offers those things in a small package. No changes for 2017 to note.

2017 Kawasaki Mule Family

While some of the side-by-side families remain unchanged from 2016, others have new members for the 2017 model year. The most notable is the new Mule SX family, which brings many of the changes the Mule-Pro series showed off in 2016 to the this new smaller SX brother.

Teryx & Teryx4

2017 Kawasaki Teryx

2017 sees a carryover of the redesign we saw on the Teryx family for 2016. This included a new aggressive look, improved interior, and new color schemes. Both the Teryx and four-seat Teryx4 are offered in a base version along with a Camo and LE version.

Both the Mule-Pro 3-seat and 6-seat models are back for 2017 with no notable changes other than some color changes. Having said that, the new blue and red are the best colors we have seen so far on the Mule-Pro family. There are models with both gasoline or diesel engine, three or six passenger, and with or without EPS. In other words, there is a model that will work for you no matter what you are looking for. You can read any one of several original review of the Mule-Pro, and be on the lookout for updates on our current long-term Mule-Pro test machine. There is a review video coming soon as well.

Mule SX Family

If there is a story here in the 2017 models, than this new family is it. The SX version of the Mule is the latest in completely redesigned Mules, with the "S" standing for small and "X" standing for strong. The Mule SX is powered by a proven 401cc single-cylinder engine. The Mule SX is available in 2x4, 4x4, and the XC version which includes a higher trim level with upgrades that will appeal to some.
