Polaris Introduces The General 1000 Sport & Outlaw 70 EFI ATV

2020 Polaris General Sport 1000

Polaris kicked out a couple of new models this week. Adults will, no doubt, will take a glance at the first new model, and kids will go to bed dreaming about the other new model!

First up is the new 2020 General Sport. What makes it a General Sport, you may ask? Start with the base model General, throw in enhanced graphics, painted springs and 12-inch aluminum wheels, all of which combine to add comfort and style at a starting price of $15,999. The General Sport then fits into the General family lineup above the base model and below the General Premium model.

The numbers on the General are very strong for this segment off the industry. Travel is 12.25 inches in the front and 13.2 inches in the rear. The General has 12-inches of ground clearance, can haul 600lbs, and tow 1500lbs. Engine power comes in at 100 horsepower. Did we mention it has full-half doors?!

The General 1000 Sport is available in Avalanche Gray and will begin hitting the ground in dealerships in April.

2020 Polaris Outlaw 70EFI

Polaris Outlaw 70EFI

Oh the kiddos these days with their available toys! When we were kids....!!!! Polaris introduced the Outlaw 70EFI for kids six years old and older, and, just like that, retired the Outlaw 50. The Outlaw 70EFI is loaded with a 70cc engine with EFI, making it so much easier to start in any conditions. Obviously, safety is a big priority with the Outlaw 70EFI coming in with several safety features. Think single-lever disc brakes, an enclosed engine, a parent- adjustable speed limiter and an industry-exclusive safety kit featuring a helmet, safety tether, training DVD and whip flag.

The 70cc engine gives a little more power to handle a larger group of young riders. The Outlaw 70EFI starts at $2,299, and will be hitting the ground in dealerships in April. Oh to be a kid today!
