Up to now we have not spent any time covering ARGO, but there hasn't been a particular reason for that. Though ARGO doesn't make a traditional "ATV or side-by-side", they do make a XTV aka Xtreme Terrain Vehicle with six or eight wheels, which is pretty darn cool! ARGO's are called XTV's for a reason: they work on land AND water. People don't just use these eight-wheeled beasts to tackle tough terrain,

The newly published U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) 2014 Annual Report of ATV Deaths and Injuries confirmed once again that fatalities and injuries related to all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) continue to decline. The Annual Report has shown a decrease in fatalities and injuries every year since 2007.
Polaris today asked all off-road enthusiasts to help drive The RIDE (ROV In-Depth Examination) Act into law by visiting www.stoptherovmandate.com to send messages to their Representative and Senators.
After congress received more than 90,000 messages from off-road enthusiasts concerning the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission’s (CPSC) proposed mandates for off-road, side-by-side vehicles (ROVs), U.S. Representatives Mike Pompeo (R-KS) and Collin Peterson (D-MN) introduced The RIDE Act in the House of Representatives. The bill, H.R. 999, would postpone the ROV rulemaking until the CPSC’s proposals are studied and evaluated by independent organizations.
There is a game afoot, that all of us off-road enthusiasts must take action against. Simply put, the U.S Consumer Product Safety Commission is trying to mandate that all side-by-side OFF-ROAD vehicles meet the same design standards as ON ROAD Vehicles. Any one with common sense can identify that this is not a good idea. We are all-for safety standards, but the last thing we need is off-road vehicles handling like on-road vehicles. In fact, that is just counter-intuitive, when the words come out of one's mouth! Doing this will result in our side-by-sides and UTVs being more dangerous off-road than before. WE MUST TAKE ACTION ON THIS ASAP!!!!!
Our friends over at High Lifter helped raise more than $14,000 for the Shiners Hospital for children. It is always great to see companies and participants in this fantastic industry lend a helping hand to those who need it. Kudos to High Lifter and all those who helped. You can catch all the details below.
It appears there is a new sheriff in town........or at least a spanking new UTV in the UTV market, and it comes from an established name in the mowing industry. Most of us have heard of Bad Boy mowers, and if you haven’t, you should have because they have a reputation for being a Bad a.... mower! Bad Boys are supposed to be bullet proof, and I decided long ago after talking to several people, when I buy a riding mower it is going to be a Bad Boy. Another positive fact about Bad Boy is they are manufactured right here in the good ole U.S.A.
