Textron Off Road is set to release 3 waves of vehicles for the 2019 model year, and, recently, the first wave revealed several new vehicles. Headlining that release was the ATV lineup with the all-new Alterra 570 and reimagined Alterra 700. In addition to these new models, Textron revealed that the Alterra 300, 700, 700 XT, MudPro 700 LTD, and TBX 700 ATV’s are all carrying over for the new year with BNG’s (Bold New Graphics). For the kiddos out there, the Textron Alterra 90, DVX 90, and 150 are staying in the lineup and, again, feature BNG’s to keep the color schemes fresh.
Polaris has officially taken the wraps off of their 2019 model lineup. There are significant updates across the entire lineup with more options, special edition models, and Ride Command-equipped vehicles than ever before. With many of the best-selling vehicles in the industry under the Polaris brand, this was a significant release for the company as they refine their side-by-side lineup to include a vast array of options for almost any buyer.
Kawasaki has been increasing the capability and functionality of the MULE lineup for many years, with new models and functional enhancements to existing models. With this consistent development, the MULE has become one of the best selling utility side-by-sides on the market. After all, it was the first utility, 2-passenger sit-in vehicle way back in 1989. For 2019, the MULE lineup gets another new addition, this time with a 60” wide machine that fills a void in the lineup. It is called the MULE PRO-MX.
Yamaha has released some big news for the 2019 model year, including updates to both their ATV and side-by-side lineups. Highlights include a new Grizzly SE model in the ATV lineup, a thoroughly revised YXZ1000R, and an all-new 2-passenger Sport/Rec side-by-side in the form of the Wolverine X2.

Meet the brand new four-seat Wolverine X4 recreational/utility side-by-side from Yamaha. We recently had a chance to check it out in person, and we are excited about this side-by-side. About a year ago, we at had an opportunity to visit with the Yamaha crew at an event, and we asked them why Yamaha had dropped any kind of 500-class ATV from its lineup? Polaris RZR, this Memorial Day, is partnering with Warfighter Made, a non-profit organization that supports ill, injured, and combat-wounded service members and veterans, with the “RZR Salute to Heroes” donation and giveaway campaign. The campaign is raising funds for the organization so they can continue to provide off-road experiences and customized vehicles to those injured while serving our country.
