The Mint 400 is quickly becoming one of the most iconic off-road races in the world, especially with almost 600 racers taking the green flag this year. 2019 also marked the year that the motorcycles are back at the Mint. In the ever-growing UTV class, Polaris took both the Turbo and Naturally Aspirated (N/A) class championships, with Mitch Guthrie JR taking the overall.
Polaris typically has a steady stream of vehicles that they release throughout the year, and 2019 has proved to be no different. Recently, they took the covers off of several of their new Ranger models, including the Ranger XP 1000 EPS Back Country Edition (available in both 3- and 6-seat models). Ride Command availability has also been expanded to be factory-installed in the Ranger Crew XP 1000 EPS and the Ranger Crew XP 1000 EPS NorthStar Edition. The latter of those also adds two exterior color options to the lineup to freshen up the package and give it a distinct look.
Every January, Polaris unveils new color ways to their UTV lineup to freshen up some models and give potential buyers something new to look for in their local dealership. Occasionally, Polaris surprises the industry with a new model or two during this time period, too. Well, this year is one of the years where a new model is released. While it isn’t an “all-new” platform like the ACE lineup was several years ago,
With the release of the RZR XP Turbo S a few months ago, we all knew that it was only a matter of time before the 4-seat version of this all-new, 72” wide RZR was unveiled. True to Polaris’ history, the Sand Sports Super Show was the place to see this all-new 4-seat desert carving machine as it was unveiled just days before the show.
Polaris has officially taken the wraps off of their 2019 model lineup. There are significant updates across the entire lineup with more options, special edition models, and Ride Command-equipped vehicles than ever before. With many of the best-selling vehicles in the industry under the Polaris brand, this was a significant release for the company as they refine their side-by-side lineup to include a vast array of options for almost any buyer.
The release of yet another 2019 model makes it official: It is that time of the year for new model year machines! The 2019 Polaris Ranger Crew XP 1000 follows closely on the heels of the 2018 Polaris Ranger XP 1000 that was a complete "ground up" redesign with many of the improvements being developed directly from customer input. Now all of those design features
Now this is something interesting! The RS1 is a center mounted single-seat attached to side-by-side RZR XP 1000 chassis minus some wheelbase, and it looks like a blast to drive. With 110-horepower 999cc ProStar 1000 engine pushing the RS1 down the trail and cornering on a dime. We also noticed that the brake pedal
A couple of days ago Polaris rolled out its 2018 machines for all the World to see, and this included many small changes, model improvements, price point changes, and a completely redesigned Ranger XP 1000. The internet and social media has been “a buzz” about the fact there is not a new RZR model as of yet in the model release, with many anticipating a brand new RZR to compete directly with the Maverick X3
Polaris RZR, this Memorial Day, is partnering with Warfighter Made, a non-profit organization that supports ill, injured, and combat-wounded service members and veterans, with the “RZR Salute to Heroes” donation and giveaway campaign. The campaign is raising funds for the organization so they can continue to provide off-road experiences and customized vehicles to those injured while serving our country.
It's out! The most-anticipated, off-road viral video of the year XP1K4 has launched! The fourth installment of the wildly-successful film franchise features the driving skills of newly crowned 2017 UTV World Champion and three-time off-road champion, RJ Anderson.
XP1K4 is five minutes of full-throttle, turbo-powered, mind-bending, off-road action! Anderson lays down a massive barrage of gravity defying stunts in his highly modified 2017 Polaris RZR XP Turbo EPS. He fearlessly attacks massive jumps, whoops, high-speed drifts and treacherous rocky terrain. XP1K4 was shot in the stunning
A fourth installment of the RZR XP1K4 is on the way, with the first glimpse of the machine itself in both the photos and a teaser video. We like the look of this new XP1K4 RZR a lot. It is sharp. The video teaser of what is to come is pretty fantastic also. Hats of to Mad Media and RJ Anderson for pulling together what will no doubt be a great RZR video. Feel free to take a look at the past versions of XP1K, and stay tuned for more in the new video.
Do you like some off road riding action and a good web series? If you are like us the answer is yes, and you need to checkout RIDEOUT with Ronnie Renner presented by Red Bull and Polaris RZR. Polaris RZR teamed with country superstar Brantley Gilbert and DAV (Disabled American Veterans) to spread some cheer this holiday season to three veterans and their families.
After the release of the Maverick X3, taking the reign of most powerful side-by-side, we knew it wouldn't be long before Polaris answered back. Polaris has now spoken with the release of the 168-horsepower RZR XP Turbo complete with 2 or 4 seats. The horsepower is not the only thing upgraded on the RZR Turbo, with new, high-capacity cooling, and a stronger driveline to utilize
Polaris RZR announced the continuation of two Camp RZR events in North America. Marking the fifth year of the event, this year’s Camp RZRs will be bigger and better than ever, and hosted at Jericho Mountain State Park in Berlin, NH, and the Glamis Sand Dunes near Brawley, CA

Polaris Defense, a division of Polaris Industries Inc., today announced the addition of a high-performance MRZR turbo diesel (MRZR-D) to its MRZR off-road vehicle lineup. MRZRs have redefined ultralight, off-road mobility for military vehicles and are mission critical for expeditionary forces in the U.S. and more than 20 allied countries to meet mission demands and threats while forward deployed. I know this is not a “typical” all-terrain-vehicle we cover, but it is pretty darn cool to look at. This “thing” is the Polaris Rampage, and Polaris calls it “a true amphibious, all-terrain, all-season, global-reach platform”. It was deployed in support of our Northern friends’ Canadian Operation Nunalivut in the North Pole. A vehicle like this is definitely in the Polaris’ wheelhouse considering all the different vehicles it produces
We brought you the news back in November that Polaris has released a band new side-by-side named the General, and set it squarely in the utility-recreation segment of the market. The General is somewhat of a mix between a RZR and Ranger, so it plays and works with you. Feedback from our friends in the industry has been positive, and the consensus is that the General is a go anywhere do anything side-by-side. It has 100 horsepower, RZR S-type suspension and has a tilt-bed. It also may give us a glimpse
If big is what you are looking for in an ATV, then the Sportsman 6x6 Big Boss 570 EPS has your name on it. This past September, Polaris awarded its 200th grant, highlighting the breadth of the program and the extent of its impact
Polaris has introduced a brand new side-by-side called The General. It is clearly aimed straight at the sport/utility segment, which Polaris really doesn't have a machine in. Examples would be the Can-Am Commander and Kawasaki Teryx. It has a RZR S suspension for lots of travel and ground clearance, plus a tilt bed and a 2-inch receiver hitch. To round things out, The General has the Polaris ProStar 1000

The Polaris ACE is a revolutionary vehicle for the off-road-loving public. For all you "haters" out there, you need to drive one and then see what you think. It is easy to drive, incredibly fun to drive, and as capable as an ATV, which our upcoming ACE 570 SP review will reveal. It is without a doubt an outstanding off-road vehicle. They have even created a race circuit
If there is anyone out there that has any doubt that Polaris is determined to offer the most powerful sport side-by-side on the market, then crawl out from under the rock you are occupying to behold the 2016 Polaris RZR XP Turbo EPS...with 144 horsepower! Yes, I did say 144 horsepower, which some people would refer to as "crazy nuts". It seems many are embracing

Polaris has introduced yet another version of the Ranger Crew that is a little more... shall we say "accommodating". This Ranger Crew 900-6 is like any other Ranger Crew 900 but instead of room for five people there is room for six. That allows for you to bring one more family member, friend, or coworker along for the ride. To gain the space for the "sixth" person, there is no center console in the front seat, but you still receive all the other features found in the Ranger Crew lineup such as the 60 horsepower
This is some interesting news, as we had no idea what would be emerging from Polaris' "Skunkworks" aka Polaris Defense. This is the largest off-road vehicle we have seen from Polaris to date, and it looks awesome. Even the name DAGOR is fantastic! You can see some parts pulled from Polaris' civilian off-road side of the business. We would love to get our hands on one of these
