Polaris is busy rolling out new and updated models this year in the side-by-side arena, and the Ranger 570 EFI and Ranger Crew 570 EFI are perfect examples of this. There is no mention of a “500” anywhere in the Polaris lineup, as the 500 engine has been retired and then replaced with the 570 EFI engine across Polaris models. Retiring the famed 500 engine is a changing of the guard of sorts,

We just returned from a press event, where we were introduced to the astounding Polaris ACE, and had the opportunity to ride it for several hours. This is without a doubt a "revolutionary" machine. Is it an ATV or UTV? We.....are not sure. You could say it is an ATV with a bucket seat, steering wheel, and cab, or you could say it is a single seat UTV since it has a bed on the back. Whatever this new segment is going to be called, the machine itself is extremely well conceived, and an absolute BLAST to drive.....err....ride. The Polaris ACE hales from the Sportsman lineup. The Sportsman 500 has been a great ATV, and for model year 2014,
