Minneapolis, Dec. 18, 2013– Polaris Industries today announced the RANGER XP 900 EPS has been selected as the 2014 American Hunter Vehicle of the Year as part of NRA Publications Golden Bullseye Awards. This is the first time a Polaris vehicle has won the prestigious award.

Last year Polaris rolled out a new flagship model in their Ranger lineup taking the “hardest working, smoothest ridding” mantra to a new level, and calling it an “XP”. The Ranger XP 900 boasted all sorts of innovations including putting the ProStar 900 engine from the RZR XP 900 into a Ranger. A completely new cab design, frame, dual A-Arm front and rear suspension, longer wheelbase, EPS, engine behind the cab, pallet size cargo bed, and other improvements were just a few highlights of the new King of the Rangers. This acquisition adds KLIM to Polaris’ growing parts, garments and accessories (PG&A) business. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
