The last handful of years has seen Textron Off Road buy Arctic Cat, then the Arctic Cat name went away, and then it came back a couple of years ago. Now, Arctic Cat is back with a scaled back ATV and side-by-side offering as it is moving forward with full force. Let’s take a look at the 2021 Arctic Cat lineup.
Well it happens to the best manufacturers! Arctic Cat recently announced recalls on Textron Off-Highway utility vehicles, which includes the 2019 Textron Havoc and 2018 Stampede and Rustler model side by sides. The side-by-sides included are listed below with further details.
Yes, it's true, Textron Off Road listened to their customers and dealers – the Arctic Cat name is back in off-road for 2019!
Tracker Off Road, a new division of Bass Pro Shops and Textron Off Road, is a newly introduced UTV nameplate for the 2019 model year.
Textron Off-Road has literally and figuratively been on the gas in 2018 releasing new models in every category of their powersports lineup. We recently saw the all-new Alterra 570 come to life in the utility quad market, and the momentum for the Textron brand continues with the release of the all-new Prowler Pro Crew model for 2019.
Textron Off Road is set to release 3 waves of vehicles for the 2019 model year, and, recently, the first wave revealed several new vehicles. Headlining that release was the ATV lineup with the all-new Alterra 570 and reimagined Alterra 700. In addition to these new models, Textron revealed that the Alterra 300, 700, 700 XT, MudPro 700 LTD, and TBX 700 ATV’s are all carrying over for the new year with BNG’s (Bold New Graphics). For the kiddos out there, the Textron Alterra 90, DVX 90, and 150 are staying in the lineup and, again, feature BNG’s to keep the color schemes fresh.
As if the Wildcat XX wasn’t enough for one year, Textron Off Road is keeping the ball rolling with new machines! This time, however, it is a utility machine that is swinging the doors open out of the Minnesota-based factory, and the new model name is the Prowler Pro.
It’s time to welcome a new member to the pure sport segment of the side-by-side market, and it is the elusive Wildcat XX from Textron Off Road. It has been a long time coming! The Wildcat XX started as a joint project between Arctic Cat and Robby Gordon the well known off road racer, but Arctic Cat couldn’t seem to get it to market. Enter Textron Off Road with its acquisition
It seems Arctic Cat is looking to sell several ATVs by offering a full-size ATV with 700-class power at a 400-class price with the introduction of its 2017 VLX 700 ATV. At a price point of $5,999 those ambitions of a full-size ATV at a mid-size ATV price is a reality. The VLX 700 has Arctic Cat's 695cc H1 engine making
Arctic Cat is jumping into the midsize side-by-side segment for 2016 with the addition of the midsize Prowler 500. This prowler is smaller than its full-size Prowler siblings, but it still comes fully loaded with all the comfort and work features you need in a UTV and expect from Arctic Cat. The Prowler 500's payload and towing capabilities seem to be up to snuff with 500 lbs of payload and 1500 lbs of towing, which means it is not a slouch in getting the job done.
Arctic Cat has released a new Camo and Blaze Orange color combination that we think looks really, really sharp. It is available on 2016 HDX, Wildcat Trail, and TBX special edition side-by-sides and ATVs. What do you think about this color combo? Leave your comments below.
Arctic Cat is the first manufacturer to begin spewing forth 2017 models for the upcoming year with the release of the Prowler HDX 700 XT Crew complete with the ability to carry 6 people for work or pleasure. The HDX Crew holds two rows of 40/20/40 bench seats, the 700 class H1 single-cylinder engine, under-hood storage, a transformable cargo box to flatbed cargo bed, 4WD with diff-lock, variable-speed EPS, and FOX Float coil-over adjustable shocks.
Arctic Cat hosted nine-time UFC Welterweight Champion and Hall of Famer, Matt Hughes, as part of an UNCAGED episode of his un-scripted reality show that’s based on his life and hunting adventures.
Typically, Hughes travels the world in pursuit of some of the world’s most challenging big game species, but the half-hour UNCAGED program, which airs on the Sportsman Channel, followed Matt as he traveled to the Arctic Cat Factory in Thief River Falls, MN.
The HDX from Arctic Cat has received a "makeover" for 2016, and it matches the 2015 Prowler family's good looks. The big and burly front end screams business in the front and back. Arctic Cat has not released any specs, features, or numbers for the Prowler HDX as of yet, but it is a safe bet the HDX will be offered in a 500 class model and a 700 class model. We think it looks really sharp, particularly the camo version.
It has been a few years since Polaris introduced a 50-inch side-by-side in the RZR 800, and opened up a segment of side-by-side that can conquer 50-inch trails. The playing field of manufacturers offering a 50-inch side-by-side has not grown until the last month, with the introduction of the Arctic Cat Wildcat Trail. We could not be more excited to see another manufacturer jump into this market segment catering to the trail-exploring type,

We reported last January or so that Arctic Cat had floated the upcoming Wildcat 50-inch Trail SxS at a dealer meeting, so we all knew it was on the way. Well several months later......it's here! Many of the editors in the industry headed out to Colorado last week to get some seat time on it, and from what we have heard, they were really impressed with this "smaller" Wildcat. At first glance the low weight of the Wildcat Trail and the large horsepower number, 60 horsepower to be exact,
It appears that Arctic Cat has added a brand new bouncing "Wildcat X" to the Wildcat X family, and it is called the Wildcat X Limited. It comes with doors, a roof, custom colors, ITP Black Water tires, Fox Podium shocks, Elka Stage 5 shocks, and cast-aluminum wheels. You can read all the details below.
Thief River Falls, Minn. (February 26, 2013) 2014 Arctic Cat snowmobile dealer show attendees in Las Vegas were shown how committed the company is about leading the powersports industry. First, Arctic Cat introduced ten all-new snowmobile models, and topped that with an announcement to design and build their own clean technology engines in their state-of-the-art St. Cloud, Minnesota engine manufacturing facility. Dealers were ecstatic about the news, but the company unveiled one more surprise.

Back in the early 1900’s of the auto industry manufacturers used to race test almost every model before it was introduced to the public. The famous Indianapolis Motor Speedway was first a test location for manufacturers to test their new cars. Then the public got interested in the racing that was going on and now the Indianapolis 500 is one of the premier races in all of motorsports. Arctic Cat has taken a similar approach to the Mud Pro 1000H2. Team Arctic Cat has been running the machine in several mud races for the past year. Leading most hard core AC fans to believe they would soon be able to head down to their dealer and pick one up. The MSRP for this monster cat is going to probably tip the $13,000 mark before you get to load it up on the trailer and head straight to the pit.
All of the Arctic Cat 2010 models have now been released and we thought ATV fanatics would want to know what is in the lineup. Arctic Cat continues to bring models to market which are strong in their respected categories along with some industry innovations. Innovations in the last couple of years have included the "Mud Pro" model which comes from the factory with a snorkel and other mud modifications making it ready to hit the mud straight from the showroom floor.
It's that time of the year when the smell of new ATV models is in the air. Arctic Cat has released the first group of 2010 models, and we can tell you Arctic Cat has returned to the table with a strong line of ATVs intended to dominate the industry. There are no changes which are industry-changing such as the Thunder Cat’s 1000 release. More than anything, the 2010 lineup includes tweaks on some models and the addition of some new models. We will give you a summary of the models that have been released, and then we will get more in depth in the coming days.
