From Russellville, take Arkansas 7 north for 25 miles (2 miles past Mack's Pines Cabins). Campground and trailhead is located on the left (west) side of Arkansas 7
We took a 2008 RZR 800 and we bottom out on so many rocks. It's rough here. Not as rough as Superlift but close. This was our first time for both Moccasin Gap and to join the RZR-back Rally. We enjoyed the weekend, but if you are not running aftermarket suspension, you are going to feel it the next morning. There should be in Skill Level "EXPERT" listed above. We were one of a few that was using a 50" RZR. Most RZRs that were there were RZR-S 800, XP 900, and 4 seats 800 & 900. 50" RZRs are too narrow and low ground clearance for these trails. But it still was a lot of fun, but don't know if we will go back unless we upgrade our RZR. And be careful when crossing the Big Piney Creek and North Fork Illinois Bayou. When it's Arkansas rain season, these creeks are wide, deep, and rolling. It could easily push your ATV or UTV down the with the currents.
I liked the place and thought it had great scenary. When we got there there had just been a rain. Found mud, deep and nasty and for the travel time will diffinitely be back!

Was all dried up and rough as heck. All the new bladed trails beat you to death and the trails was not marked very well. The maps did not match the trails. The private trails around there was far better.
