Welcome to Our Fields of Dreams, 155 acres of off road trails, rated 3-6 (in normal weather conditions) for enthusiasts and nature lovers such as ourselves. Our market is directed to small and midsize stock or slightly modified 4WD vehicles driven by people like us who drive their rigs daily. We offer you miles and miles of trails for your pleasure. Some trails are very challenging, but we always try to offer you a safety loop around the most demanding obstacles. We have designed the trails to compliment the fabulous terrain of our farm. Our trails have been laid out to eliminate the problem of waiting. If you breakdown your guides will give the problem a quick look, if we are not able to get you going in 10 minutes we will continue our adventure while the breakdown visitor waits for our staff mechanic who will offer assistance in repair or recovery to the front gate.
What do we have? All of our trails allow traffic up or down, doubling your off road experience. We proudly offer over 60 hill climbs ranging from 5' to 100' foot in grade. We have 20 mud crossings for your pleasure. Did I say we have mud? We got mud all summer, even in the drought of 2007. Enjoy a cool relief in summer as you travel in the shade through our 125 acres of woods. We have incorporated thousands of the boulders and field stones from over the 3 miles of old stone fences into our trails. Our water crossings range from 3 inches to 3 feet in depth. With approimately 1/2 a million trees on the farm, we have a tremendous amount of downfall obstacles as well as man made obstructions. We are very proud to advise all of our visitors that we have spent 2 years building our trails, and have removed most hanging and ground branches (as long as you stay on the trail) that could cause body scratches or damage.
We built the trail system with our Jeep Wranglers, Grand Cherokees, Cherokees and our Liberty. Our trails are very tight because most of our trials are in our 125 acres of woods. All visitors ride the main trail with the more challenging obstacles being loops off or near the main trail. We have placed limits of 35" high tires with 6 inch lift. We recommend a minimum of 30" tires, preferably all terrain tires. Of course with any off road adventure there is a risk of bodily harm as well vehicle damage. We are sorry but no full-sized trucks or large SUVs are allowed on trails. These vechiles will not fit through most of our trails.
